04.08.08 /// This year I received a pottery class at NCC for my Birthday. I had been talking about it for weeks and was so excited to start beginner's wheel just after the new year. It's been 8 years since I had sat at a pottery wheel; but week after week, every Monday at 6, it all came back to me. Here's a look at my collection of work over 10 weeks. Each is the result of a vision, an attempt, and what the pottery decided to do no matter what I tried. Glazing, was a whole 'nother animal. Maybe I'll make my next class at NCC a beginner's glazing class so not everything is such a surprise in the end. ///
